POLAND
This page provides a guide to the digitized National Security Country Files on Poland housed in Texas Scholar Works. The originals are located in the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin, Texas.

The documents in the Poland National Security Country Files primarily focus on the changing landscape of US-Polish relations in the shadow of regional and global events such as the Vietnam War. There are also materials on the rise of official anti-Semitic campaigns and political purges in Poland. Documents also cover the 1968 protests in Poland, the so-called “March Crisis” and its aftermath, as well as Poland’s position concerning the Czechoslovak Crisis (Prague Spring) and the invasions of Czechoslovakia.
